In this third installment, we see GB Olympic Sprinter Ashleigh Nelson talk us through the ‘How To’ of running a 100m race in 11 seconds. In the short, Dr Aki Salo, a senior lecturer in Sports Biomechanics, explores the science that drives Ashleigh’s ability to run in such quick time, and how understanding the process scientifically can help in her training to become even faster.
The spot is a stimulating collection of infographics, approaching the subject theme in a three stage process, but still with plenty of exciting visual effects, giving an almost futuristic feel throughout.
Mill+ Head of Content, Josh Davies, tells us, “It’s been fantastic to collaborate with the Guardian on this short film project. We are excited to deliver the next in the series of these stimulating shorts with such interesting subject matter.”
Mill+ Creative Director Carl Addy comments; "The first of five content films created for G-LAB, this is a lovely example of Mill+ working as an agile end to end solution. This film acted as the ideal project to draw on all areas of our expertise to create visually rich content.”
